Apologies

I’ve not run away again, I’ve just been ploughing a different furrow.

Batman and I are moving out of our bedroom with too much floorspace and into my current sewing room, which should let me lay out a full sized quilt/dress/shoe bag without having to stand with one foot on the bed and the other on the hearth of the fireplace! (Which, coincidentally, we are ripping out because we’ve discovered an original cast-iron fireplace behind it, helpfully still laid with coal!).

So my evenings have consisted of stripping paint

supervising the stripping of paint

and washing windows

…more updates as they happen. Especially the fireplaces!
