
Inspired by Disdressed’s post about polishing silver with baking soda, salt and aluminium foil, I immediately lept up and polished the salt cellar and a dish I’ve been trying to polish for ages. I highly recommend trying her method, it fizzes, smells funny, leaves an entertaining residue and is really granola!
I’ve decided that in the end when they find a cure for global warming, it will be made of baking soda…

Wow, that’s shiny! I’d add Borax to the list. Somehow it eliminates roaches, does laundry, and all sorts of other crazy things you’d never guess…
Ooh, I love Borax.. I mainly leave WD-40-ing to Batman (my accuracy can’t be trusted), but I definitely appreciate its properties!
