I’m just rubbish at being ill, yesterday I made a cushion cover for a travel pillow I bought ages ago, finished a present and started cleaning the kitchen.
It’s pouring rain and we have no more food in the house, so we’re going to have to brave the great oudoors!

A while ago we bought Claudia Roden’s ‘The Book of Jewish Food’ and I have to say that I immediately sat down and read it cover to cover. Entertainingly, the Ashkenazi section is about a quarter of the size of the Sephardi section.
