Looking

This week’s theme appears to be looking… so here’s some more stuff as discovered on Flickr.
This artist has done a series of work where she writes secret hopes and prayers in nails. I love the juxtaposition of text and physical labour.
I do like a bit of collage..this is amazingly detailed..
You know me and anatomy, especially [...]

Look at that alliteration, it’s like I planned it..
Spring Fever has arrived, as you may have noticed I’ve been playing with my blog layout…
I’ve been feeling in need of some inspiration recently, so here’s some nice stuff I found on Misi.
I love viewfinder photos, I’m a big medium and large format fan, and viewfinder shots [...]

The craft fair was more of a networking opportunity, possibly due to do the hail storms that punctuated the day.

Still, I met lots of lovely people, especially Mary of Quite Contrary Designs and Ian who makes trendy glass stuff. Go check them out!
The only other successful venture of the weekend was finishing my anti-RSI mitts. [...]

Now that we have a [...]

Fierce

This little sweetheart was a present from a friend of mine, it has freaked out more small children (and not so small ones) than I care to remember…

So this moving thing is a bit of a window on the self in relation to personal space. It feels like I’ve been here for much longer than three days, although I should probably leave the village and go exploring a little more!

Living with internal stairs gets a bit of getting used to, I keep [...]

Wonders of the Universe

I find it really difficult to explain my relation with medicine. My whole life has been surrounded by medical people, discussions and knowledge. Those of my parents’ friends who weren’t doctors were involved in other aspects of medical research and I spent ages in hospitals in my jammies, collecting one parent, waiting for another one [...]
