I saw this rather interesting post on A Dress A Day’s blog today. It talks about how much time you need to put into an activity before you can be considered really really good at it.
The breakdown appears to go a bit like this:
4,000- Not too bad
8,000- Pretty good
This of course, leads me to sit down and try to work out what I needed to do to create 10,000 hours so I can be good at something! It looks like in order to be fabulous within 5 years, you need to do your thing as a full-time job, for an 8 year plan you’d need to do it about two working days a week.
Something to think about anyways..
