We went to Levenshulme Market last weekend, and here’s what we found!
My taste (or maybe it’s just the manifestation of my taste) in jewellery has changed markedly since we moved to Manchester. First, I stopped wearing necklaces, both because they’re really annoying when you’re teaching Pilates because they hit you in the teeth when you are upside down and because small children like to grab them (I’m really good at mending jump rings now). Instead I wear a lot of bracelets and cuffs, the bigger the better!
Lana Yo’s website is under construction, but she’s doing a few markets in Manchester. There were some gorgeous folded leather cuffs which I don’t have photos of, but hopefully they’ll appear on her website soon!
The next find is Laurie Pink, who rather coincidentally drew the exhibition that was on at Trove when I asked about displaying my work!
Speaking of tea (well, kind of), we bought some coffee from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf which tastes amazing and is doing a very good job of fueling this blog post!
